What you will
experience
The GOOD Games is the only event in Canada that brings together traditional sport, Para sport, Special Olympics moments, Indigenous sport and cultural experiences, free family activities, live entertainment, food, wellness and community programming in one place.
It is part competition, part festival, part giant community block party. Athletes come to compete, families come to explore, kids come to try something new, and everyone is invited to watch, play, cheer, connect and belong.
The goal is simple.
To celebrate people through movement, joy and shared experience, and to show what is possible when sport and play become something everyone can be part of.
The What
Three days of sport, music, food and festival energy. Sport courts, feature matches, kids play zones and a full festival village in one place so you can move, watch and explore.
The Why
Because movement heals and play connects us. We create a place where you can show up as you are, try something new, cheer for others and remember how good it feels to feel part of something.
The How
There are three simple ways to jump in: play, participate or volunteer. Pick what fits you best, choose your city and we will take care of the rest.
The Good Movement
Why we exist
Physical inactivity is the 4th leading risk factor for death worldwide. In Canada, nearly half of adults don’t get enough movement, and youth activity rates are even lower. The GOOD Games exists to change that. Through joyful, inclusive experiences, we help Canadians rediscover the power of sport and community to:

Boost Physical Health by getting people moving at every age.

Build Community Resilience by uniting kids, parents, and grandparents through play.

Strengthen Mental Well-Being by creating connections that fight stress and isolation.
